eBags - Top Brands at the Best Prices

Hi I’m 17 yrs old….Oh! I guess it doesn’t matter….

The important thing is, where do I dump the following stuff:
1. Blade (from my safety razor)
2.Plastic Bag
3.Metal Scraps (there’s no junkyard nearby)
4.Old plastic action figures….

I can’t help it, but I have to dump metal scraps & food materials together,,,,People rarely come to collect different wastes separately….It’s somewhat hazardous to throw blades with food…(some animal might try to eat the food & end up bleeding)…

And yes, I live in India….the junk here just keeps piling up & very few people care ’bout it….Urgh!!

reuse the plastic bag! that solves your problem, and is also good for the environment.

action figure = give it away to kids etc

    EBAY!!!!

  3. Dania says:

1.Give it to some one who makes things with metal
2.Take it with you the next time you go to the supermarket and put your shopping things in it
    3.Same as with the blade.
4.Sell them on E-bay OR DONATE THEM TO CHARITY!

  4. Betty says:

    1.Try to wax instead.
2.Try to find a canvas bag to keep on you when shopping, then you won’t need to use a plastic bag.
    3. Ask your local council if some land can be allocated for local residents to put metal objects, then when it builds up, maybe a scrap merchant could collect it in bulk.
    4. If they are in good condition, try to sell them on the internet or if they are safe, offer them to the underpriviledged children.
    Hope this helps!

Put the blade and metal scraps in a food can. If not available, use a soda/beer can. Recycle the cans. Unless the bag is reusable, you might be able to use it as a litter bag for the car. Give the action figures to some kids charity if they are in good shape. Otherwise, you may have to trash them.

Where I live, the city government is responsible for collecting household waste. All food scraps, paper towel and facial tissue is collected in green plastic bags, which can either be fed to pigs, composted, or incinerated. All paper, metal, glass, and plastic is collected weekly in blue bags, and is taken to be sorted and recycled. Anything else is collected every two weeks in a white bag, and taken to a ‘transfer station’, then sent away to a landfill. Any hazardous material like paint, broken glass, needles, blades, and the like are taken to the HazMat area at the transfer station.

Your best option is to phone your city’s government, and ask them. If they don’t do something appropriate in your eyes, write them some suggestions. Who knows, they might employ you if you put some great ideas forward.

Well when everybody is waste deep in the stuff and people start dropping dead and the country grinds to a halt maybe they will start taking notice and start spending some of those billions we send them to help the people, and the rest of the world along with them, same goes for China. I hope they figure it out soon,
    good luck.

You might keep in mind that some of those old action figures could be worth selling. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.
