We took him into our home and he has done great! Then he started eating the towels in is crate, then he busted out of his crate and ripped my curtains, then he destroyed the plastic tray into shreds. Then he jumped the fence, got out of the house, and jumped the fence again. What do I need to do with this dog? I moved his crate in front of the door so he can see out, put hooks on it, tied it with rope in hopes he’ll still be in it when I get home from work. He seems to be getting worse. II can’t leave him outside and I’m afraid to leave him inside my house outside of his crate and he is destroying his crate. I also have a 9 month old Shepherd/Collie mix who is an angel.
When he lived outside alone he would dig, climb the fence, cry and try to get in the house. My husband has left for the week and I know the dog misses him, though the eating towels from his crate started before my husband left. I walk him every night and am practicing obedience with him. He can climb pretty well. I have cats so I haven’t trusted him alone in the house. He only stays in his crate during the day. I have left him out with my other dog alone for maybe an hour and they were fine. My other dog chewed up a chair when we left her alone for too long outside her crate.

Answer by thinkersw
If you all that info. on your resume under that one heading, then that is way too much to have. Under each work experience entry you only want 3-4 bullet points.

I was helping a friend in a similar situation. He couldn’t understand why his resume wasn’t generating any interest. I sat down with him and realized that his resume was 6 pages long! We shortened it down to 2. Another friend only had 1/2 a page and we increased it to 2.

The easiest may be if you send me your resume. I would be happy to edit it and help you out. Just leave your name and contact info of the resume if you are concerned about who I am.

Question by StoneCold: Should the U.S. scrap all our existing immigration visa categories, and replace them with these four?
Wouldn’t it be easier to simplicate and add lightness to the U.S. Immigration Visas?

Scrap all existing immigration visa categories, and replace them with just four: the White Visitors Visa, the Blue Student’s Visa, the Yellow Work Visa, and the Green Residency Visa.

These would all be plastic biometric cards, like a driver’s license, with the person’s photograph, name, age, height, weight, country of citizenship, date of issue, and date of expiration, on the face of the card, just like a driver’s license. The same data can be replicated in a magnetic strip on the back, along with entry and exit dates, so that Customs or INS or any police agency can swipe the card and know the dates and locations of the person’s entries into, and exits from, the United States.

The White Visitors Visa would be the simplest and easiest, issued to everyone who got a visa to visit the United States for a limited time. It would not authorize extended stays, enrollment in school, or employment. With a White Visa, you could not apply for any other visa while in America. You have to go home first.

The Blue Student Visa would authorize longer stays, for foreign students attending school in the United States. The expiration date could be linked to the expected date of completion or graduation of their course of study, and could be extended, when appropriate, by applying to the INS for an extension. If offered a job in America while here on a Blue Visa, the student could apply for a Yellow Work Visa–a temporary work visa–which would issue if the person was qualified for a work classification for which visas were being issued, and other conditions (security, background, etc.) were satisfied. I.e., with a Blue Student Visa, one could apply for an upgrade to a Yellow Work Visa while legally in the United States.

The Yellow Work Visa would be issued for a term of five (5) years, if the applicant applied to work in any of the categories of labor for which the Department of Labor determined, on an annual basis, there was a need for immigrant workers. The Yellow Visa would be the first visa issued to all immigrants–a five year “probationary” visa for all immigrants. It could be renewed one time, for five years, after four years in the United States, if the person (a) had been employed at least 36 of the past 48 months, (b) passed a basic English literacy exam, and (c) had no felony convictions, and no more than one misdemeanor conviction. A person working on a Yellow Visa could apply for an upgrade to a Green Residency Visa while legally in the United States.

This would allow, for instance, Mexican or other South American citizens who want to work in America for a limited time, but not become U.S. citizens or permanent residents, to work in agriculture or other industries with labor shortages, for a specific, definite, length of time, but would avoid the patent absurdity of the “guest worker dance” envisioned by the bipartisan immigration reform bill now in the Senate that requires such a worker to go home after two years, stay in Mexico a year, while applying for another two-year permit, and so forth. It would allow a Mexican citizen who wanted to earn money and return to Mexico to work here for up to ten years, and then return to Mexico with a nest egg.

The Yellow Work Visa could also serve as a marriage visa, allowing the foreign spouse of an American citizen to live and work in America for up to five years, at the end of which, if the marriage remained viable, he or she would qualify for a Green Residency Visa, permanent residence and a citizenship track. The Yellow Work Visa would not authorize the entry of any other person, other than the worker’s spouse and minor children.

The Yellow Work Visa would also show–on its face–the quest worker’s tax identification number. This would not be a Social Security number, but a tax identification number, like the TIDs issued to businesses. The guest worker would pay income taxes and other payroll deductions, but would not pay Social Security taxes, and would not accrue any right to any Social Security benefits, i.e., a guest worker with a Yellow Card would stay out of the Social Security loop, until he, or she, got a Green Card.

The Green Residency Visa (“Green Card”) would issue upon completion of five years residence on a Yellow Visa for those who had been accepted to the permanent residence track leading to citizenship. The applicant would have to (a) show employment for 48 of the previous 60 months, (b) pass a basic English literacy test, and (c) have no felony convictions, and no more than one misdemeanor conviction, to qualify for the permanent Green Residence Visa upgrade.

Then, when an immigrant becomes a U.S. citizen, he, or she, would get a red, white, and blue Citizenship Card.
This would enable employers to know, at a glance, whether the worker was eligible to work in the United States, and when his or her Yellow Card expired. The use of a taxpayer identification number (TIP) rather than a Social Security number would make it easy for the Internal Revenue Service to track workers who had overstayed their Yellow Cards, or whose cards had been revoked because of one felony or two misdemeanor convictions. And it would make it feasible to penalize employers who employed any non-citizen who did not have either a Yellow Card or a Green Card after, say, December 31, 2008, and require any non-citizen to get either a Yellow Card or a Green Card by then (this would be pro forma for legal immigrants) or leave, i.e., without a Yellow Card, illegal immigrants couldn’t work as of January 1, 2009.

Finally, the Labor Department and INS could adjust visa quotas each year, depending on the projected need for workers in American industries, and other public policies as dete
and other public policies as determined from time to time by Congress in its infinite wisdom. And as a pragmatic matter, I would propose that 50% of all Yellow Work Visas and Green Residency Visas should be issued to people with college degrees–one visa for a college degree, for every visa issue to someone without a degree. For permanent residency status, the Green Residency Card and citizenship track, preferences should be given to those with Ph.D.s and other doctoral level academic and professional degrees, then for those with master’s degrees, then bachelor’s degrees, and then those without degrees based on labor force needs.
My proposals are probably not the last word, the final or perfect or best solution to this enormous and complicated problem. I don’t see them that way. They are ideas that will, I hope, stimulate thought and debate, and refinement, and amendment, until the American people can develop, I hope, an immigration policy that will meet two objectives.

One, it will bring an end (along with physical border control) to illegal immigration into the United States.

Two, it will divide future immigrants into two categories, (a) those temporary workers, “guest workers,” who meet U.S. labor needs on a 5- or 10-year basis, but do not want to become, or do not qualify to become, permanent residents or citizens, and (b) those who will be on track for permanent residency and citizenship, who want to become real Americans (not just foreign nationals living in America), and who will be selected for the objective, self-interested benefit of the United States.

Answer by Julia B
This is very interesting & I like it. The problem is that it makes sense. Th politicians will never go for it.

Some advantages of plastic moulding are high tolerances. High production rates, low labour costs and minimal scrap losses. There are different plastic moulding techniques available to accomplish this including rotational moulding , injection moulding , blow moulding , and compression moulding to name just a few. Each technique has its benefits and is best suited for the creation of specific items. Unlike the olden days only when only fresh plastic materials were moulded to useful products, today with environmental awareness on the rise, plastic moulding concentrates on using recycled materials. Moreover, the advancements in plastic moulding technology has made it possible to manufacture products in any complicated shapes.

Plastic moulding is ideal for producing high volumes of the same object. Some advantages of plastic moulding are high production rates, plastic moulding high tolerances are repeatable, wide range of materials can be used, low labor cost, minimal scrap losses, and little need to finish parts after plastic moulding. Several terms are commonly used for injection molding. Ejection pins are rods that push the part out of the mold. This force keeps the mold closed during the injection process. Tonnage can vary from less than 5 tons to 6000 tons, with the higher figures used in comparatively few manufacturing operations.

In broad terms, the process of plastic moulding consists of feeding raw material granules and additives such as colour, into a hopper situated on the moulding machine. The raw material enters a heated barrel with reciprocating screw and the molten plastic is then injected at considerable force into a two part mould tool specific to the item being produced. The process of plastic moulding usually begins with an industrial designer or engineer who designs a product. This is followed up by the work of a toolmaker or mould maker who makes the mould to fit the design created. When molten, they can then be manipulated (injection moulded, extruded etc) to a new shape. When formed to their new shape they must then be cooled to solidify them.

Are you dissatisfied with your existing plastic moulding supplier? Which ever, Omega Plastics will advise you on the manufacturability of your product for FREE. Maxell is an ISO accredited manufacturer with class-7 and class-8 clean-room facilities and employs a very environmentally friendly working policy.Used specifically in plastic moulding and die casting machines, the interlocking units help control the flow of hot, cold and collected water in the application’s cooling circuits. Small and easy to assemble. This paper proposes a multiple-criteria methodology for evaluating environmental impacts in the plastic injection molding process (PIMP) and incorporates the findings of an empirical study conducted in Hong Kong. The paper identifies and explains various indicators of environmental impact assessment and establishes a multiple-criteria rating matrix. The vacuum device conveniently includes a suction pipe provided through the plug of the injector. In this case, the plug is tubular and the vacuum device comprises a stem, which is axially mobile through the cavity of the plug and is provided with an end open/close element.

AJ Precision Components operates 17 conventional injection moulding machines ranging from 15t to 300t, five two-shot (two material) 60t to 150t injection moulding machines and three extrusion blow moulding machines. The company is engaged mostly in plastics production and employs over 60 people operating several modern injection molding machines. SOLEA CZ is able and ready to extend production capacity to match customer needs.
The government published its strategy on just how Great Britain is going to meet its target of cutting Carbon dioxide emissions by 34 per cent by 2020. They wanted to submit serious plans as they are yet to meet previous targets. Although a 21 percent reduction have been achieved.

The UK Low Carbon Transition Plan set out the way the UK will cut C02 emissions by more than a third from 1990 levels by 2020. The Boiler Scrappage Scheme was one aspect of the plan set out by the Labour Government to reduce carbon emissions.

The boiler scrappage scheme was made accessible to a several of households who still used G-rated boilers. The scheme allowed them all to alter their behaviour in ways that help combat global warming by reducing CO2. This suggested that an A-rated boiler should be installed.

Although the government scheme is now closed, the scheme in England made a lot of sense because in the UK there still are approximately 4 million inefficient ‘band G’ gas boilers functioning in households which emit high levels of dangerous carbon. The boiler scrappage scheme made it much more affordable to install a new energy efficient boiler. And the boiler scrappage scheme allowed it to be easier for the poorer communities to pay for this type of change. Although this scheme only lasted a short time in theory it must have made some difference to families who took advantage of the opportunity.

What to do now? Because the scheme is now finished, domestic property owners will have to seek better deals from their local plumbers for the installation of a new boiler. If the boiler in your home is over 10 years old you should definitely consider scrapping it and replacing it with an energy efficient one. A new boiler could save you up to £240 a year on your heating bills, as well as expelling less carbon into the atmosphere.

There are a lot of energy efficient boilers now on the market. What can be done is simply contact a Gas Safe registered honest plumber or plumbing company. A Gas Safe registered plumber or heating engineer should come out to your property and give you a free quotation for a new boiler installation.

Before you contact the local plumber check what kind of boiler you have. If your boiler is 10 year old or even older, it is very likely that it will be a less energy efficient G rated. When looking into it, the signs for scrapping will be the flue. The flue is the pipe situated externally to your house on the wall alongside your boiler. Once your boiler is on, look to check if the flue is letting out steam. When it is, as well as being plastic then it might mean that you already have a high efficiency boiler. If, on the other hand, your flue is metal and isn’t letting out any steam you probably have an older non-condensing boiler but double check with the local plumber. These older boilers let out much hotter gases – invisible to the naked eye and would melt a plastic flue. There will still be a lot of domestic properties in London without energy efficient heating systems so you are not alone.

Communities must be made aware of the difference energy efficient boilers can make to reducing utility bills. Although the boiler scrappage scheme by the government is over, local plumbers will continue to spread the word that scrapping old boilers is a great idea..

Part One
My heart pounded in my chest, my throat was burning, ignited by my frantic gasps for air. I clenched my teeth, as the side of my face throbbed with pain, slowly ebbing away. I took a deep breath, and slowly let it out I watched my breath spiral into the star plagued night.
I listened to the wet sand-like gravel crunch beneath my sneakers. I sprinted across the field of iced over snow. My feet occasionally crashed through the hard ice and into the powdered snow underneath. The ice felt like shards of glass scrapping against my ankles as I hurriedly pulled my feet out of the mini crevasses.
Finally, I stepped onto the semi-dry wood and leaned on the freezing metal pole, trying to catch my breath. The moon glistened on the silver chain links. A gentle breeze crept through the night. The corners of my eyes watered as I silently grabbed the swings chains and sat down on the black rubber seat.
My eyes watered even more, warm tears rolled down my cheeks. My heart slowed to a heavy beat. I rested my forehead against the chains and closed my eyes. My legs and hands trembled, as I wrapped the wool shawl around my shoulders, soon drifting off into the past.
Vibrant green grass surrounded the two swings. Her strawberry blonde hair was neatly pulled back into a pony tail and the scent of sunscreen hung in the humid summer air. Her father held onto her hand, he wiped his forehead with his free hand. Suddenly she dashed to the swings and struggled to the seat. She squealed delighted as her father picked her up and swung her around, carefully seating her.
She giggled as he gave her a big push and then hopped onto the swing next to her. Leaning back she looked up at the almost cloudless sky. She stuck her hand out and clung to her fathers protective hand as we swung back and forth…
My glacial blue eyes flashed open. I wiped away my tears with my sleeve and sniffled. I gazed at the empty swing, the wind callously thrashing it back and forth. The half rusted chains creaked as I bolted into the howling wind. I anxiously prodded my coat pockets for my wallet until I came upon it.
My heart pulverized my chest as I raced to the General Store, against the torrential downpour. The sleet stung my face as the rain seeped through my black windbreaker. I clenched the three dollars in my shivering hand. The faint white glow of a street light became blurred as I blinked my long eyelashes, water dripped off my eyelashes. I crashed into the automated doors. I banged on the glass door with my fists as the generator roared to life. Fluorescent lights slowly flickered to life, freezers hummed quietly, and the doors threw themselves open, pushing me to the linoleum floor.
I quickly pried myself from the floor and shuffled to the third aisle. Impulsively I snatched a loaf of white wonder bread and squeaked my way to the refrigerators. My eyes felt heavy as I tiredly grabbed a jug of whole milk, wandering to the checkout. About to collapse I effortlessly relinquished the loaf of bread and chilled milk.
Overwhelming perfume pricked the tip of my nose. I squinted, my nose tingled and I sneezed. The cashier’s wrinkled hands scanned the light loaf of bread, her hands shook as she struggled to heave the jug of milk over the blinking scanner. A loud ‘bleep’ echoed through the nearly abandoned store. Suddenly there was a light tap on my shoulder. “Olivia?” I spun around, water spraying everything around me. “Mike!” A wide smile spread across my face as Mike and I embraced each other in a friendly hug. “Paper or plastic?” The clerk’s monotone voice scratched against the walls.
“Plastic please.” Mike giggled, “Your soaking wet, why did you go outside?” The clerk rasped. “$4.75” I let go of Mike’s warm body and shivered, handing the clerk 4 dollars and 75 cents.
“Um, I really don’t know.” I felt my insides twist with disgust as I lied to my best friend in the whole world. Mike chirped playfully, glancing at my swollen cheek. “Hey, wanna come over my place for dinner? My moms making Sheppard’s Pie, your favorite. Oh, what’s with your cheek? Looks like someone hit you.” I starred at the floor, grabbing the brown plastic bag. “It’s nothing. . .” I mumbled slowly walking away. Mike turned around to face his mother and shrugged. The auto-matic doors clicked open, and I ran at the speed of light, neglecting the sharp pangs of ice that slammed into my face.
I gasped, grimacing at the overflowed bridge. Twisting the bag and tying it shut, I jumped into the murky water. A bitter wave of shock washed over me. I kicked my legs, a blinding flash of lightning split the sky, and illuminated the grey world around me. My feet finally found solid land, I hastily sprinted up the small hill. A huge evergreen tree swayed violently from side to side. I watched in disbelief as the thick tree snapped in half, crashing to the pavement.
The malevolent wind drowned my weak scream. Blinded by the persistent rain I staggered over the fallen tree. It’s branches clawed at my legs, tearing through my jeans. I stumbled upon my darkened house. I quietly climbed over the wooden railing and slipped out of my drenched sneakers, tossing them under the porch table. I took the milk and bread out of the bag and rested them on the glass table, as I picked up my sneakers and dropped them in the bag, yet again tossing them under the table, like a dirt rag.
Pushing the door open I grabbed the milk and bread worriedly rushing to the kitchen. I jerked open the silver refrigerator and shoved the milk on the first rack. I ran back to the island and dropped the fresh bread on it.
I zipped to the sink and leaned my head over it. I twisted my hair, wringing it like an over-used dish towel. I yawned while I slowly dragged myself across the hall, and up the oak stairs. I paused in the pitch black hallway, gazing at my parents room. I stood there for a moment, shivering uncontrollably, like the way the chandelier shakes when a freighter train hurdles by. The floor creaked as I sluggishly turned around.
Stepping into my room was like reaching a sanctuary in the middle of a war zone. I grabbed a towel and dried the rest of my hair. I shrugged out of my sopping wet clothes and changed into my dry, silky pajamas. My exhausted legs gave out, and I collapsed, falling onto my plush bed. I snuggled into my fluffed pillows and fell asleep.

Part Two
- the story is about a 15 year old girl who is abused by her step-father. its sort of a personalish story lol ^-^;
