Does anyone know how a wire chopping machine works? How the grinder AND the separation of the plastics and copper is done? Vacuum and/or vibration? I’m looking for pics or a video that shows the “Inside” of the machine. I find videos of the machines doing the process but that really does not show me or tell me how they work. I’m thinking about trying to fab. one. ….or has anyone build a “homemade wire stripper? If you have or in the process can show you what I did last winter. Maybe we can help each other in design? Problem with going to local scrap yard is they may not have a chopper for wires. their chopper is probally for cars, etc., as for everythingchanges: how does a chopper work,…. Click Here to Read More

I broke some plastic and I can replace it; the suspension seems normal and the ride seems good (carefully) up to 80 mph, but I know by the position of the ignition switch that I bent the forks. Can they (or should they) be straightened? I was slowly cruising an unfamiliar neighborhood, west, at 5pm. HUGE sunglare suddenly from behind a house as I was about to round a corner — car came around the corner, I moved out of it’s way and into a parked pickup. EMBARRASSING. I’ve noticed when browsing at craft stores that the albums they have are bolted in, making it unable to remove the plastic pages or add more. I’m wondering if all albums are like this? Or are those bolts able to come out? I’m really wanting to get a album, but would like to be able to add as many pages as i want, instead of only 10 or so pages. Would it be better if i just got a 3-ring binder and go from there? I’d love it if you guys could add some websites that have the type of albums i’m looking for with good designs and not plain ones. I was looking at the scrapbooks at Michael’s, if that helps.. not sure if they are expandable or not. All i saw was little silver bolts.. i couldn’t…. Click Here to Read More

1.) When I use pictures do they turn different colors over the years if I don’t have special paper to have the pictures on? 2.) I have plastic acid free things that you put your picture into, what do I do with that? 3.) When I print out a photo can I glue it to colorful construction paper without the paper loosing color over the years? 4.) Can you write in pen on the construction paper, and have it not smear later on? If you don’t understand these questions, leave me an answer telling me which one you don’t get. If you could help me out that would be…. Click Here to Read More

I’m considering going in to business scrapping computers, i may tear them down to scap the metal/plastic. If I can find a company that will pay (per pound or whatever) for dead systems i’d rather not put in the labor. Any kind of electronics recycler in the east coast may be of help. I’d even consider shipping containers to someone who’ll pay top…. Click Here to Read More
