Question by Anthony: Spilled paint stripper on my wood floor?
My idiot friend was helping me scrap paint off of my wall. I put down some plastic but apparently he moved it ripped it or did something. Because I have a bunch of drop spots that ate through the poly and have left a white spot. I just sanded and finished the floors a week ago. So I am having a heart attack. I know how much work I put into them. How can I get these spots away. I was thinking sanding the area and reapplying poly to small areas. But when I tried to sand with a 220 grit nothing really happened. I don’t want to use a heavier grit and have to do bigger sections of the floor. Any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks in advance.
I forgot to put in here we were using paint stripper. That is what fell my oak wood floors and caused the spots.

Use the 100 grit first the 220 grit. Then reapply the coating.
