I have a pile of scrap metal I would like to cash in for some extra money. I have been saving for a while but this is my first time cashing it in. I just aquired some steel shelving units but the steel is coated in a clear plastic. Should I remove the plastic before taking it in to scrap? If so are there any easy ways of removing it aside from sitting down for hours and chipping it away?
