Polyester Screen cloth: Unaffected by most solvents, Polyester PETP (Polyester, Polyethylene Terephthalate) has good resistance to strong acids at room temperature and resists weak acids and alkalies even at high temperatures; strong alkalies can weaken it. UV resistance is good, but it tends toward a slight loss of tensile strength with prolonged exposure to sunlight. Lacks good hydrolysis resistance, but retention of properties after gamma radiation exposure is good. Deformation under low stress is minimal, but it can deform under high stress.

I bought this to make an air filter for my computer. At first i considered getting the more dense, smaller opening, mesh screens but opted out thinking it would be too restrictive. These are fine as is, but they are pretty big holes. I had a lot of extra material so i doubled it up, no dust is getting past this. I say you are better off getting the smallest one on amazon if you want to use it as an air filter but this will do fine. picture a window screen made out of plastic
