Matrix Polymer fined after worker loses fingers
A plastics company has been fined a total of £7,000 after a worker suffered severe hand injuries in an horrific industrial accident. Matrix Polymer admitted breaching safety at work regulations at its plant in Knowsley, Liverpool, during a hearing before Knowsley magistrates (31 March).
