About us:

SIA „ Pak Demiks ” was registered and began its activity in 2002. The basic activity of the company is: gathering, sorting and processing of plastic waste. We accept waste from enterprises, population and garbage collectors in Latvia, as well as from the foreign companies in Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Belorus. The basic difference of the „Pak Demiks” SIA from other companies working in this sector of the market, is that we are engaged in gathering and processing practically of all known thermoplastic polymers: both the general plastic kinds – LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP, PET, PVC, and the engineering ones – PC, PA, ABS, PS, PPS, PC/ABS, SAN, PMMA, PTFE, PVDF and others. Such a unified approach is connected with purposeful export activity of the company that makes it possible to find consumers for the each and every kind of raw material. At present our company has several important foreign partners not only inside of the European Union – in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, France, but also outside EU, which are the main customers of our production. The monthly average turnover of secondary raw material makes 120-150 tons with tendency of gradual increase. Another direction in the company’s activity is import of the secondary raw material ordered by the local manufacturers.

On the basis of the Agreement signed with Riga Council and the License given by the Ministry of Environment we are allowed to service enterprises with removal and recycling of their plastic packing or post-production waste, issuing necessary utilization certificates at the same time.

Our company has obtained the license, which starting from the year 2007 entitles us to release from payment of the packing tax the enterprises that have cooperation agreement with us, as we undertake to collect and send for the secondary processing all packing , which has been let out by them on the market. Such an opportunity gives an extra benefit to our Latvian partners, as all of them are payers of the packing tax. Thus, from our side we offer additional service which expands our company’s activity field and makes cooperation with us more attractive for existing and perspective partners.
