Not once, but twice in the kitchen my food trash items leaked on me when I started using these bags when I took the trash. Thus leaving behind some gnats, which I didn’t have problems until I started using these bags. I will not repurchase & switch back to non-flexible trash bags.

I figured that I’d give these bags a shot from seeing a commercial that extolled the toughness and flexibility of this product. I quickly found that these bags easily tear when loaded to a fraction of capacity (tearing at much less than half full), and I would go through the bag package quickly and wastefully(no pun). The flex construction and the thickness of the plastic make these bags fragile and almost useless in a kitchen capacity, with no difference between soft or sharp trash (both will tear the bags). I have since gotten rid of the rest of the package and have gone back to regular (simple and effective) kitchen bags. They are bags, yes…and they are trash… Buyer beware!

Ah, the power of advertising to beguile — I was enticed into getting these Glad trash bags because I was intrigued by Glad’s so-called “Force Flex technology,” which Glad depicts as an innovation that makes these bags stretchy and more resilient against tearing. Man, do I feel suckered.
The ruffled texture of these bags do, in fact, make them a wee bit more stretchy than conventional bags but in all others respects, these bags are no different from conventional bags. They are no thicker or stronger and thus no more impervious to sharp protrusions than regular trash bags.

Sorry, Glad, but ForceFlex technology is a dud. I guess after I’ve run through these Force Flex bags, I’m going back to the ones I was using before – Glad Quick-Tie Tall Kitchen Bags, which I love! The flaps on these make quick work of tying up and disposing of the bags (no messing around with twist ties or draw strings). I would recommended these instead.

I can only put 1/3 of the trash in the Force Flex trash bags before they rip to shreds. The simple act of taking it out of the box and opening it ripped several of these bags. It couldn’t handle regular trash much less something irregular. Even when I tried to throw the bag in the dumpster, the bag ripped apart and trash flew everywhere! Glad Force Flex bags are the most horrible trash bags I’ve ever used.

these bags dont realy work there no thicker and preaty much the same all all the others anny one who sayes there good or great lies or hasent used then u cant put anny thing sharp in them like a cardboard box or so on waste of money unless u dont have anny thing sharp
